Rooted in the Earth

A Yoga and Meditation Chakra Retreat in the Sacred Valley of Peru

10 Days of Renewal in the Sacred Valley

Embark on a restorative journey to Peru’s Sacred Valley, where nature, culture, and intentional stillness shape a time of deep renewal. This retreat weaves together mindful movement, nourishing meals, and the healing energy of the Andes, inviting you to slow down and reconnect to you and the chakras. Surrounded by mountains and vibrant gardens, you will have space to breathe deeply, move gently, and immerse yourself in the spirit of this extraordinary place to return home grounded, refreshed and inspired.

Where We Are Staying

The Sacred Valley is a place where Pachamama, Mother Earth, makes herself known. Her energy is alive here — in the rivers, the peaks, the soil beneath your feet. It is electric and still at the same time. Purifying. Renewing. The kind of place that works on you whether you are trying or not.

At the heart of this landscape sits Willka T'ika, an eco-luxury wellness retreat nestled beneath snow-capped Andean peaks and woven through with its renowned Seven Chakra Gardens. Medicinal plants, vivid blossoms, and the iconic Lucuma tree line pathways designed for contemplation and deep connection with the earth. This is where we will stay part of our time together.

Meals are fresh, organic, and farm-to-table — fully vegetarian and lovingly prepared by the Quechua staff, whose ancestral traditions shape everything from the food to the warmth of how you are received. You will feel it from the moment you arrive.

Guest rooms are designed as sanctuaries. Built with natural materials, Andean textiles, and Feng Shui principles, each space is quiet, elegant, and restorative. Spacious Luxury Rooms overlook the gardens and mountain peaks while Garden Rooms tuck along peaceful pathways. All rooms include heating, private bathrooms, and fresh flowers. Balconies, terraces, and quiet nooks offer space for reflection whenever you need it.

Every detail here supports one thing: your ability to rest, open, and reconnect.

Empowering and Transformative

This transformative journey allows us to connect deeply with ourselves, one another, and the profound wisdom of Pachamama, creating memories that will inspire and uplift long after the retreat ends.

Your Retreat Experience in Peru

This retreat is intentionally designed to offer an abundant, worry-free experience and a seamless, deeply immersive journey through the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, and Cusco.

Beyond visiting Peru’s most iconic destinations, you’ll be held in a curated schedule of transformative ceremonies, cultural experiences, wellness practices, and daily yoga and meditation—all thoughtfully included to support an unforgettable journey.

Meet the Host: Ivette Desai

I came to yoga the way many do — drawn in by the physical practice. But once I arrived on the mat, I understood it was so much more than movement. Yoga became a practice of returning to myself — physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. I discovered that subtle changes create big shifts.

I completed my first yoga training in 2019 and have never looked back. Since then, I've deepened my practice through studies in meditation, tantra, and sound, and I am currently completing my 300-hour training. I teach Yin, Vinyasa, Gentle, and Restorative yoga — each style an invitation to meet yourself exactly where you are.

Through my own journey of navigating chronic stress, inflammation, fatigue, and hormonal shifts, I found that when we align with the body's natural rhythms, everything changes. This path led me deep into Ayurveda, where I trained as an Ayurvedic counselor, and into the study of circadian rhythms — understanding how and when we use our energy profoundly shapes our sleep, digestion, and overall vitality.

I weave together yoga, Ayurveda, circadian alignment, sound healing, and nervous system regulation into a teaching style that is grounded and embodied.

Each breath is an invitation to return. I'm here to walk that path with you.

We combine these practices with travel and adventure to deeper connect to the truest version of ourselves.

“I have had the wonderful opportunity of working with Ivette for over five years now, through her Ayurveda practice, her supportive women's groups, Reiki sessions, and her retreat to the Azores. I am currently signed up to attend a retreat in Crete and in Machu Picchu. The work I have done with Ivette has changed my life in so many ways. I am an attorney and a mother of a 14-year-old. Things were getting out of hand. Absolutely overwhelming. She has helped me transform my life from chaos and clutter to peace and structure. I have found so many more moments in the day for self-care and for passions, most specifically, my creative pursuits. I am forever grateful, and will continue to be one of her dedicated pupils.” -Lori Schiavone
